Beyonce’s Sister Cancels European Tour for ‘Mental/Physical Health’
(NEW YORK) -- Solange Knowles is “completely devastated” to cancel her European summer tour, which included stops in Portugal, Norway and Finland, she said on her website.
Juggling being a single mother to son Daniel, 8, her follow-up album to Losing You, and an international tour was just too much for Beyonce’s sister to handle all at once.
“Between moving part time to a new city, starting my son in a new school, and writing/recording my new record…I really had to make the best decision for my mental/physical health and provide some stability for my family,” she posted on her site.
Solange, 27, just relocated from Los Angeles to New York City, where sister Beyonce and Jay Z also live.
Knowles emphasized how sorry she was to her fans and that she hopes she can make it out to those cities that were cancelled soon.
Efforts to reach Solange’s international rep were not immediately returned.
