Chris Brown's Probation Revoked; Reacts on Twitter
(LOS ANGELES) -- On Monday, a Los Angeles judge revoked Chris Brown's probation in the 2009 assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna as a result of misdemeanor hit-and-run charges from a car accident in May, according to TMZ.
However, Brown was not ordered jail and and was released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on Aug. 16. If, at that time, it is determined that Chris violated his probation, he could face up to four years in prison.
Shortly after Monday's hearing, Brown vented his frustrations via Twitter, "I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run," he wrote. "I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!!"
He adds, "Love you Team Breezy. I hope people can actually see the truth."
