Homer Simpson Accepts the Ice Bucket Challenge
(NEW YORK) -- Even animated characters are accepting the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
In a new video released online, a shirtless Homer Simpson takes on the challenge. He nominates his neighbor Ned Flanders -- twice -- his co-worker Lenny and Donald Trump before spilling a glass of water on his head.
However, Bart then dumps gallons of water, plus penguins, a bear, hockey players, a snowman, Santa Claus, an ice cream truck and more, on his unsuspecting dad from a helicopter.
The 26th season of The Simpsons premieres on Fox on September 28. You can catch up on previous seasons by tuning in to the ongoing Simpsons marathon on FXX, which concludes on Labor Day.
Elsewhere in celebrity Ice Bucket Challenge news, Bridesmaids actor Chris O'Dowd got drenched in a video in which he nominated "Baby O'Porter," thus revealing that he and wife Dawn O'Porter are expecting a child. Dawn is seen pouring water on her baby bump.
So far, the Ice Bucket Challenge has raised $94.3 million for the ALS Association.
