Kate Gosselin to Return to TLC for One-Night Special
(NEW YORK) -- Kate Gosselin has been largely absent from TV after her series Kate Plus 8 was canceled in 2011. If you've been wondering what she's been up to since then, we're about to find out.
TLC, the cable network that made Gosselin and her brood a star, is set to air a one-hour Kate Plus 8 special that will look at how the Gosselin family has grown and changed since their reality series went off the air. It will also look back at the family's most memorable moments.
Viewers were first captivated by the Gosselins in 2007, when their series Jon & Kate Plus 8 debuted. The series followed then-happily married couple Jon and Kate Gosselin along with their children -- twins Cara and Mady, now nearly 13 years old, along with now-9-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah. Following Jon and Kate's highly-publicized 2009 divorce, the reality series was renamed Kate Plus 8.
There's no word on if Jon will appear on the special. He most recently starred on VH1's Couples Therapy with his girlfriend of two years, Liz Jannetta.
Kate Plus 8, the one-hour special, will premiere in June.
