Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Not Engaged Yet
(LOS ANGELES) -- For now, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are content to be only parents, and not husband and wife, too.
People magazine says a rumor that West popped the question over the weekend is false. However, its source adds, "I can't imagine them not getting married. That's in their future!"
The insider notes West "is already an incredibly present father." The rapper and Kardashian welcomed their baby daughter, North West, a little over a week ago.
TMZ.com has posted a photo of the child's birth certificate, which not only confirms her first name, but also confirms that she wasn't given a middle name.
Sources tell TMZ.com the couple selected the name North because they view it as a metaphor for "up," meaning there's nothing north of North -- there's nothing better. The website says Kardashian and West believe the baby is the peak of their relationship and they view the child as their "North Star."
