(NEW YORK) -- In the new National Geographic Channel film, Killing Kennedy, Rob Lowe stars as John F. Kennedy Jr., alongside Ginnifer Goodwin, who plays his wife, Jackie. And now, we have our first peek at what the actors look like in their roles.
The TV movie, based on the book Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot, by Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard, is a look at the final years of Kennedy -- who was shot and killed in 1963 at age 46 -- and his assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald.
Lowe, 49, who began production this week in Richmond, Va., has already been moved by the material.
“Just saw @ginnygoodwin as Jackie Kennedy in the sad and awful blood-stained dress,” he tweeted on June 11. “Extremely emotional.”
The film will premiere in November, timed to the 50th anniversary of Kennedy’s death.
