Reports: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Married Saturday in France
(NEW YORK) -- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are now husband and wife, according to People, which is citing multiple sources.
The couple reportedly tied the knot in Chateau Miraval, France last Saturday in a private, civil ceremony attended by friends and family.
Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, announced their engagement in 2012. A spokesperson says they obtained a marriage license from a judge in California, who also conducted the marriage ceremony in France.
Jolie and Pitt's children were participants in the ceremony, said the spokesperson. The bride was walked down the aisle by sons Maddox, 12, and Pax, who's 10. Daughters Zahara and Vivienne, 9 and 5 years old, respectively, threw flower petals, while daughter Shiloh, 7, and son Knox, 5, served as ring bearers.
