The City of Centralia Public Works will be applying Seal oil and chip to the roads on the road rehabilitation MFT program listed below on Thursday, July 30, 2015 .  Weather permitting .  No Parking on streets will be allowed from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and roads will be closed in area of construction to thru traffic..    Cars will be towed.  Please move all vehicles away from street.


1)      Dog Pound Road from Copple Road to end

2)      Airport Road from Calumet to city limits

3)      Davis from Frazier to Calumet

4)      Marquis from Frazier to East 4th

5)      Anderson from Frazier to East 4th

6)      Melrose from Calumet to Frazier

7)      Linden from Frazier to Calumet

8)      East 6th from Melrose to S. Perrine

9)      Charles Drive

10)   Greve from South Perrine to Mitchell

11)   North Sycamore from Gragg to city limits

12)   Allison from Elm to North Sycamore

13)   Agape

Marion County Highway Department will oil the Meacham road from Wilcoxen to the Kinlou Road and the Brubaker Road from Meacham to the village of Omega on Thursday, July 29th. Oiling will begin at 7:30 am.   Roads will reopen at 1:30 pm. 

Incoming and outgoing phone lines are back in service at HSHS St. Joseph’s in Breese on a TEMPORARY basis. Some fax machines remain down. When the repair is completed, the system will again be interrupted to switch from the temporary to the permanent fix. Thank you for your patience as this issue is resolved.

All Centralia Boil Orders Lifted

All boil orders in the City of Centralia have been lifted.  They include: 

East Rexford from North Lincoln to Robinett Drive, including Lincoln Court Apartments.

West Broadway from Oak Park to the West end of the Centralia Home Center. 

Locust from Broadway to East McCord

West 6th Street from South Cherry to Pullen Street

South Locust Street from East Calumet to East 4th Street.
