BB Gun Theft At Centralia Wal-mart Foiled
Wal-mart officials called police Saturday morning after they saw the three allegedly jump the fence in the garden center with the BB guns in hand. The three were chased to the Regents Bank facility across West McCord Street where they were taken into custody.
One of the three was taken to the Clinton County Jail at Carlyle for later transfer to juvenile detention. The other two were released back to the staff of One Hope United. Two other runaways from the children's home were reportedly with the other three, but not involved in the retail theft. They were also returned to the home.
