Brownstown Man Injured In Wreck North of BrownstownAn 18-year-old Brownstown man was injured Sunday afternoon in a single vehicle crash on the Brownstown Road three miles north of Brownstown.
State Police say Shane Shelton was traveling northbound on the Brownstown Road three miles north of Brownstown when he lost control on the gravel shoulder, skidded off the west side of the road, hit the roadside ditch, went airborne, and hit a telephone pole.
Shelton, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car. He was taken to Springfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of major injuries.
