Centralia City Council to Consider Bids TuesdayThe Centralia City Council will be asked to approve a bid Tuesday night for rock aggregate materials for the Public Works Department to use on city-wide roadways. The city received one bid from Beelman Logistics, LLC. The council will also be asked to approve a bid from Shores Builders, Inc. for removal and replacement of the damaged concrete slabs lining the Raccoon Lake Dam.
The city council will consider a request from Hugh and Leslie Moran of Moran Queen~Boggs Funeral Home to name the funeral home property a Local Historic Landmark. The City Preservation Commission supports the request.
The council will be asked to approve a development agreement which will turn two leases on Centralia Lake into 13 lease sites. They will also be asked to approve a resolution which will extend Marion County's use of the Centralia Animal Shelter.
The Centralia City Council meets Tuesday night at 7:00.
