Friday Is Deadline to Enter Little Egypt Festival Parade

Friday is the deadline for entry forms to be turned in for the Little Egypt Festival Parade next Saturday, October fifth.  

Parade Chair Troy Cannon says the parade is shaping up nicely, with many new entries along with some perennial favorites and several school bands.  The main color guard duty will be performed by the Marion County Fire Service Honor Guard.   

If you need an entry form, they are available at the WJBD studios at 310 West McMackin and Salem Travel.  Completed forms should be dropped off at the Marion County Coroner's office at the courthouse in room 305 or faxed to 548-48-75 by four Friday afternoon.  

The lineup will be published early next week.
