Michigan Man Sentenced to Prison for Highland Bank RobberyA Michigan man will spend the next 78 months in Federal prison after robbing a Bank in Highland. 22 year old Ramsey Z. Fakhouri of Troy, Michigan was found guilty of Bank Robbery after holding up an employee of the Bradford National Bank on Valentines Day this year.
Fakhouri's girlfriend worked at the bank and was inside while he and an accomplice robbed her coworker using realistic-looking airsoft guns. The victim was stocking the ATM machine at the time.
When security camera footage was released showing Fakhouri during the robbery, Fakhouri drove to the Highland Police department to tell police he had nothing to do with the robbery. The police did not believe his story, and placed him under arrest. In his pockets, they found a large sum of money.
Fakhouri allegedly wanted to purchase an expensive engagement ring for his girlfriend.
