Police Beat For Wednesday, June 26th, 2013

Six people were arrested on outstanding warrants on Tuesday and early Wednesday morning.  

Three of those taken into custody remained in the Marion County Jail on Wednesday.  27-year-old Craig See of Ticklin Road in Odin was arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding felony warrant.  28-year-old Blake Hills of Green Road in Iuka was picked up by Odin Police on an outstanding traffic warrant.  32-year-old Sara Davis of North Wood Street in Odin was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.  

24-year-old Donald Callender of Bell Club Road in Centralia posted $1,000 bond after being arrested by sheriff's deputies on an outstanding felony warrant.

30-year-old Misty Owens of Dawley Street in Salem was taken to the Fayette County Jail at Vandalia after being arrested by Salem Police on an outstanding Fayette County small claims warrant.  

18-year-old Christian Woodward of South Marion in Salem was arrested by sheriff's deputies for illegal consumption of liquor by a minor.  He was ticketed following a traffic stop.  

A 50-year-old Flora woman received minor injuries in a car-deer accident Tuesday.  Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Robin Atwood of North Olive Street hit the deer on Route 161 a half mile west of Interstate 57.  Reports indicate Atwood did not require hospital treatment for her injuries.  The wreck occurred at 9:45 Tuesday morning.
