Police Beat for Saturday, May 3rd, 2014Marion County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a 35-year-old Kinmundy man for driving under the influence of drugs, possession of a controlled substance, and improper lane usage. Jeff Thomas of Brubaker Road was taken to the Marion County Jail where he remained on Saturday.
20-year-old Austin Hawley of Kirby Road in Iuka posted $150 bond after being arrested by Salem Police for criminal trespass to land. Hawley was allegedly located in Bryan Memorial Park on Friday night where he had earlier been banned.
39-year-old Melissa Martin of East Broadway in Salem posted $500 bond after being arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
52-year-old Douglas Vest of South Pine in Centralia posted $150 bond after being arrested on an outstanding Richland County warrant, failure to appear on a Marion County DUI warrant and for improper lane usage.
