Police Beat for Saturday, November 23rd, 2013

A 22-year-old Centralia resident is being held in the Marion County Jail after being arrested on a petition to revoke his probation. Martez Isaiah of Maulding Drive was taken into custody at the probation office.

35-year-old Tonya White of Porter Street in Kinmundy posted $150 bond after being arrested by Kinmundy Police on a misdemeanor theft charge.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of a debit card, Link card and $40 in cash.  Joseph Ross of Sixth Street in Carmi says the items were stolen from his girlfriend's purse while she was at a home on Old Bethel Road in rural Iuka.
