Police Beat for Sunday, May 5thA 19-year-old Centralia man remains in the Marion County Jail on several charges. Trenton Lonnie Pearson of South Perry Street in Centralia was arrested by Marion County Sheriff's Deputies for alleged driving under the influence, illegal transportation of liquor by a driver, driving on a revoked license, and on two Marion County warrants.
20-year-old Shaylah R. Rector of Salem Road in Mt. Vernon was arrested by Illinois State Police for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. She posted a total of $400 bond and was released.
27-year-old Jerry B. Ezebuiroh of South Poplar Street in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for alleged possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the Marion County Jail.
