Police Beat for Tuesday, September 10th, 2013

The Marion County Sheriff's Department reports a car reported stolen in Junction City on September 3rd has been recovered.  The car owned by Michael Hallam of Van Buren Street in Junction City was found parked at the Guest House Inn in Salem.  No one was around the vehicle.  The investigation is continuing.

Salem Police are investigating the theft of a bull dog from the yard of the James Loyd home on East Rainey Street.  The dog was reportedly tied outside when the theft occurred.  

A 17-year-old Sandoval man has turned himself in at the Marion County Jail on an outstanding traffic warrant.  Anthony Hernandez of Florida Avenue was released after posting $250 bond.
