Police Beat for Tuesday, September 3rd, 2013The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating a burglary at the Larry Lane home on Meacham Road in Kinmundy. Lane reported coming home Monday night after being gone about five hours and found his home had been broken into. About $1,000 in change was stolen. Lane was not immediately clear on if any other items had been stolen.
The sheriff's department is also investigating a burglary to a car parked in the driveway of the Craig Rinehart home on Lazy Acre Road in rural Salem. Rinehart reported his iPhone, credit card, medication, and drivers license stolen.
A 45-year-old Centralia man remains in custody for aggravated domestic battery. Johnny Bosler of South Pine is accused of attempting to choke and struck Tanna Bosler at their home.
61-year-old Laria Gammon of Calumet City remained in custody Tuesday morning for alleged driving on a revoked license and on an outstanding DuPage County warrant.
25-year-old Norman Dailey of West Missouri in Sandoval turned himself in on an outstanding child support warrant. He was released after posting $36 bond.
