By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

A 21-year-old Sandoval man has been arrested for obstructing a peace officer.  Colby Lyons of Bethel Road is accused of refusing to give a Centralia Police officer his name and later pulling away and starting to walkaway when being handcuffed.  The incident occurred at Sandoval Motors when the officer noticed a woman kicking on the door while passing by on his way back to Centralia after dropping off a prisoner at the Marion County Jail.  Lyons reportedly was one of those inside the building at the time.

45-year-old Jack Wathan of Bruce Court in Centralia remained in the Marion County Jail on Wednesday after being arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Marion County misdemeanor and Clinton County felony warrant.

19-year-old Alysha Eaker of East Perry in Sandoval was arrested by Sandoval Police for illegal consumption of liquor.

27-year-old Raymond Stroup of East Second in Kinmundy posted $36 bond and was released on an outstanding warrant for paying the annual child support fee.
