Police Beat for Wednesday, June 30th, 2014A 23-year-old Centralia man has been arrested for domestic battery after allegedly fighting his mother until he could get her cell phone away from her. Julian Heffner was arrested later after Centralia Police had called her cell phone number and he answered. He was taken to the Marion County Jail.
20-year-old Charlar Taylor of South 22nd in Mt. Vernon posted $300 bond and was released after being arrested on an outstanding Jefferson County misdemeanor warrant.
The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating criminal damage to a skidsteer owned by Kendall Davis of Snyder Road in Centralia around July 14th. He reports the wires were cut. He didn't realize the vandalism had occurred until he took the skidsteer info for repairs.
