Police Beat for Wednesday, October 16th, 2013A 20-year-old Central City Man was taken to the Marion County Jail after being arrested by Centralia Police Tuesday for alleged domestic battery and an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant. Slade Thompson of Charlotte Street is accused of striking Nora Miller at her home on East Broadway in Centralia.
Three others remain in jail on outstanding warrants. 51-year-old Dawn Peters of East Illinois in New Baden was arrested in Clinton County on an outstanding Marion County DUI warrant. 49-year-old Randy Chapman of West Broadway in Centralia was arrested on a Marion County ordinance violation warrant. 18-year-old Luke Declue of Case Street in Centralia was arrested by Wamac Police on an ordinance violation warrant.
47-year-old David Holland of Texas Lane in Odin posted $150 bond after being arrested by sheriff's deputies for alleged driving on a revoked or suspended license.
