Record Attendance Again This Year At Shriners Circus in SalemThe Shriner's Circus set record attendance figures during its Thursday and Friday night shows at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Salem.
Circus Chair Buck Oulrey says 1,805 attended the Thursday night performance and around 2,200 filled the grandstand to capacity on Friday. "The circus is great, the weather turned out great, and the crowds are great. We've had record breaking crowds again this year, like last year. We appreciate all the people who come out to support us and all the Shriners that come to work from other towns," said Oulrey.
Oulrey says the Shriner's Circus will return to the Marion County Fair Grounds next year, but the exact dates have not been set.
