Salem Man Hurt in Selmaville Road Crash

By Bruce Kropp, WJBD News

A 50-year-old Salem resident was injured in a two vehicle crash Thursday morning on the Selmaville Road near the Red Stripe Road intersection southwest of Salem.

Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Jessie Blackman of Selmaville Road in Salem had slowed to turn off the Selmaville Road when she was hit in the rear by a Jeep driven by 48-year-old Mark Hills of Hills Lane in Salem.

Blackman was taken to Salem Township Hospital for treatment.  Hills escaped injury.  He was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
