Salem Man Receives Minor Injuries In Two Car CrashA 22-year-old Salem man received minor injuries in a two vehicle crash on State Roue 161 just east of Schwartz Road on the east side of Centralia early Thursday night.
Marion County Sheriff's Deputies say Jeffrey Tate of Salem Mobile Home Park ran into the rear of a car in front of him that had slowed for another vehicle to make a left hand turn. Tate said he didn't see the brake lights on the car driven by 61-year-old Kent Quinn of Cline, Iowa due to glare from the sun.
Tate declined medical treatment. Quinn was not injured. The crash occurred at 5:30 Thursday evening.
