Salem Super Cruise to Take Place This Weekend

The 24th Annual Salem Super Cruise will get underway this weekend, Saturday, September 7th. The annual cruising event kicks off at 5:00pm, and registration will take place between 12 noon and the beginning of the cruise. Vehicles will be judged at entry while they register. Registration is located at the intersection of Rt. 50 and I-57, behind the Super 8 Motel in Salem. There will be Dash Plaques, Door Prizes, and Food served.

The event is no longer participant voting. Judges will be handing out Top 40 Awards--30 for Vehicles and 10 for Motorcycles, plus 10 Special Awards including:

Super 8 Choice

Granny's Choice

Denny's Choice

Ladies Choice

Sheriff's Choice

Mayor's Choice

Best Make-Out Vehicle

Police Chief's Choice

Club Participation

Longest Distance Driven

At 6pm the cruise will pass through Antique Power Days at the Marion County Fair. This year's event is hosted by Midwest Street Machines and is dedicated in Memory of Doug Knaak.
