Scrap Arts Music Will Be Performing Live At Kaskaskia College
"In no particular order, having no money and wanting to make a whole bunch of musical instruments with basically materials around us and it could be to challenge ourselves artistically. It's fun. It's interesting and it's a desire, you know, how everybody wants to go beyond what already exists. To create something new. All that kind of feeds into it, and it really helps to be broke. That makes you resourceful, and then being resourceful just means you open your eyes and look around you more for more options," stated Kozak.
Kozak and the rest of Scrap Arts perform with their own instruments that they made from recycled materials. In WJBD's online video there are a lot of images of some of the instruments that Scrap Arts has created.
The group will be performing on Friday, November 1st at 7:30pm. Tickets are being sold at Kaskaskia College. For more information, call 1-618-545-3223.
