Two School Busses Collide in Mt. Vernon, One Leaves Scene
One of the buses reportedly left the scene and began delivering children home. Mt. Vernon Police say initial reports indicate the buses were in the process of departing from Casey Junior High when the driver of one of the buses became distracted and did not see a bus in front of him stopped. The front of the first bus struck the rear end of the second bus. The driver of the first bus then left the scene.
