Wilderness Days Coming to Iuka Park This WeekendThe second annual Wilderness Days celebration is coming to the Iuka Park this Saturday, September 14th, 2013, beginning at 10am and ending at 4pm.
The event will feature bow and BB gun shooting along with tomahawk throwing demonstrations, a Kids Pedal Tractor Pull, Wild Reality TV, Antique Tractors, Blanket Traders, Dod Custom Calls, A Handmade Knife Maker, and Crafts will be featured at the event. The 17th Illinois Territorial Rangers will also be at the park for the event, the Rangers are a reenactment group that provides demonstrations of life between 1811 and 1814, including setting up an authentic camp stocked with black powder rifles and a forge.
Food will be served, including vegetable chowder, sandwiches, drinks, homemade ice cream, and more. Sign up for the Pedal Tractor Pull takes place between 11am and 1pm, with the pull beginning at 1:30pm.
