City Series Game One Set For Tonight -- Rotary Reds v. Peoples National Bank TigersSALEM - The 2014 Salem Summer League will put a bow on another season as the City Series begins with game one tonight at 7pm featuring the Rotary Reds and the People's National Bank Tigers.
Jim Husk's Red's are back in the City Series once again after running rough shot over the league this season finishing with the best record. A balanced attack with solid pitching headlined by Layton Wayer and Logan Rubin, the Reds will be a tough team to beat.
The Peoples National Bank Tigers features one of the most prolific hitter's it's seen in some time with Chase Dodson. After hitting 14 home runs during the season and being intentionally walked another 14 times, including several times with the bases loaded, it will be the other Tigers that will have to step up to help their team carry home the championship.
