Franklin Park Teams Finish Second at SummersvilleThe Franklin Park Lady Bobcats had three runners in the top ten on the way to a second place finish Saturday at the Summersville Invitational, run at Mt. Vernon City Park.
Jenna Reiter won the race in 10:53 while Madison Quandt took second with a time of 11:01. Kaitlyn Wilson was the third Lady Cat in the top ten, finishing eighth with a time of 11:32. Franklin Park finished second in points with 74. Carriel scored 35 points to lead the team standings.
The Bobcat boys cross country team also took second at Summersville, falling short of Fulton. Hayden Wimberly took second with a time of 9:48. Dawson Webster also medaled for the Bobcats, finishing fourteenth with a time of 10:19.
The Franklin Park cross country teams return to Mt. Vernon on Tuesday for a meet with Casey School.
Odin's Trent Burton finished sixth in the varsity meet with a time of 10:02.
