Franklin Park Wins Future Wildcat MeetThe Franklin Park boys and girls track teams combined for
388 points at the Future Wildcat Meet yesterday, defeating Raccoon School and
Raccoon finished second with 176 points while the Rockets
were third with 139.
Clay Irwin set a Future Wildcat Meet record in the shot put
with a toss of 48’5”.
Alyssa Vest set two new records in the sprints. The first
was a new record of 13.54 seconds in the 8th grade 100-meter dash.
Vest’s time of 27.3 seconds was good for a new record in the 200-meter dash.
The Franklin Park track teams will compete next in the
Regional Meet at Highland on Thursday, May 2.
