KC Men and Women Beat SWICThe Kaskaskia College men and women picked up victories over Southwestern Illinois College Wednesday night. The Blue Angels topped SWIC 71 to 60. The KC women have now won 11 in a row and are 17-1 and 6-0 in Great Rivers Athletic Conference Action. KC took the lead for good just before half time. KC was led by Kierra Graves with 24 points. Makeba Elliot added added 13 and Chelsea Stone 12.
The KC men beat SWIC 77 to 73. The lead in the game changed 10 times before Vincent Jackson hit a three pointer with 1:33 remaining to put the Blue Devils up for good. KC was led by Vincent Jackson with 21, Jermaine Ruttley with 17, D'Marnier Cunningham with 17, and Kevin Swanson with 13.
Kaskaskia College's next game will be Saturday, January 25th at Southeastern Illinois College. The women play at one, followed by the men at 3 p.m.
