Boles and Cole Steward both went 2-3 and combined for three runs batted in. Dakota McDaneld had an RBI double in the win.
Junior Legion Head Coach Jeff Malone had this to say about the sweep over Mt Vernon.
"We haven't played for a week with rainouts. I thought we'd be a little rusty but we hit the ball really well and got our game back we lost to them last week. We played good defense, too. It was a good win, to go to Mt. Vernon and get two games, a good win and we're back on the winning track here."
Post 128 improved to 16-4 for the summer and are 5-2 in league play. Salem is back in action on Saturday with a game at Trenton.
