Salem Bowler Fails to Make Finals of State Tournament

Salem's Troy Shults got off to a  slow start at the State Bowling Tournament Friday and failed to qualify for the finals on Saturday.  

Shults started slow, shooting 523 for the morning games.  The afternoon three games went a lot better, with Troy shooting 256, 194, 214 for a 664 series.  Troy's total of 1187 left him 73 pins short of the cut to continue to the finals on Saturday.  Troy averaged 198 for the day.
