Salem's Scores Improve, 2nd At Herrin...McTall Medalist, Annies 2nd.

HERRIN - Salem was second in a girls golf tri-match at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Herrin.  The host Lady Tigers shot 168, followed by Salem's 195 and Ziegler rounded out the scoring at 236.  Macy Mooneyham of Herrin was the medalist shooting 39.  Megan Gallatin led Salem with a 40, Mallory Daniels 47, Emily Baer 51 and Sydney Holst 57.  Coach Megan Kessler commented after the game that it was nice to see the scores come down across the board and that she liked what she saw out of her team.  Salem will host St Anthony with the boys on Tuesday.  The Salem Boys are in action today at Mt Vernon. 

    Centralia was 2nd in a tri match at West Frankfort.  Nashville shot 200 to Centralia's 212 with the hosts at 216.  Centralia's Lacy McTall was medalist with a 44 and teammate Se'Arria Alexander was runner up with a 47.  Asthon Morris Smith added 59, Madi Cole 62, Payton Hoh 64 and Malaya Downey 74 for the Annies.
