Sonics Claim Consolation Title at Host TourneyThe Centralia SuperSonics 14U softball team won the consolation championship at their host tournament this weekend at Rotary Park.
An early loss bumped Centralia to the consolation bracket, but from there the Sonics ran the table, ultimately beating the SI Sting 7-0 in the consolation game.
Chloe Wendling got the win on Sunday, striking out six Sting hitters.
The SuperSonics cracked out ten hits, highlighted by Kameron Kelly's homerun. Bailey Spears went 2-3 and Casey Little went 2-2.
The Sonics are now 37-11 and play the SWAT in a double header Wednesday at Altamont.
