Five Hospitalized After Chemical Device Ruptures in Colo. Classroom
(HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo.) -- Classes at a school in Colorado were canceled on Tuesday after a chemical incident in a classroom.
Ten people were evaluated after a chemical device "ruptured" in a classroom at SkyView Academy in Highlands Ranch, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said.
Four students and one teacher were hospitalized.
Douglas County Sheriff Ron Haven said, "We are trying to determine whether or not this was a malicious event or if it was an accidental event."
