NM State Police: All Missing Boys Have Been Found
(HILLSBORO, N.M.) -- The nine teenagers who had been reported missing from the Tierra Blanca Ranch have all been accounted for as of Sunday evening.
New Mexico authorities went to the ranch for at-risk youth Friday morning with a court order to interview the boys placed there regarding allegations of abuse.
The New Mexico State Police said, "as of this time, all of the missing boys are accounted for, specifically Mayson Myers, Evan Kogler, Peter Adams, Oscar Ruiz and Bryce Hall."
Officials had issued an Amber Alert for nine teenagers on Friday when they arrived at a ranch for at-risk youth and found no one home.
An attorney for the ranch issued a statement saying that the teenagers were "safe," though police were not convinced.
As of Sunday morning, the first four teens had been located and returned to their parents, while the Amber Alert for the last five teenagers continued until Sunday evening.
Ranch Director Scott Chandler has been named a person of interest in the investigation.
