(TALLAHASSEE, Fla.) -- Seminoles freshman quarterback Jameis Winston tossed for 325 yards as No. 3 Florida State (8-0; 6-0 ACC) took down No. 7 Miami (7-1; 3-1 ACC), Saturday night, 41-14.
With Florida State leading 21-7, Hurricanes senior wide receiver Allen Hurns caught a 14-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Stephen Morris to cut Miami’s deficit to seven with 22 seconds left in the first half.
In the second half, it was all Seminoles as they scored 20 unanswered points behind touchdown runs from junior running backs James Wilder Jr. and Devonta Freeman.
Winston finished the game with one touchdown pass and two interceptions.
