Cowboys Looking to Bounce Back Against Redskins
(NEW YORK) -- The Dallas Cowboys will host the Washington Redskins on Sunday night in a NFC East divisional showdown.
The Cowboys are coming off a tough 51-48 loss to the Broncos last week, but their head coach Jason Garrett says he wants to shut down the Skins’ offense.
"It's a real challenge their really good on offense and he's (Robert Griffin III) a big part of it," Garrett said on Wednesday. "More than anything else they want to run the football. We've got to make sure we defend that."
Washington is coming off a bye week. Still, quarterback Griffin says in earlier season games the team didn't play up to their own standards.
"We didn't really play like we know we can play," he said Wednesday. "We just got to get back to doing us."
"They have the same guys there but they have a total different scheme. At the end of the day we want to have a similar result and that's a win," he added.
