Diamondbacks Acquire Mark Trumbo in Three-Team Deal

Tom Szczerbowski/Getty Images(LAKE BUNEA VISTA, Fla.) -- Mark Trumbo will be suiting up for the Diamondbacks in 2014.

Arizona acquired the 27-year-old first baseman from the Los Angeles Angels in a three-team trade that also includes the Chicago White Sox.

The White Sox will receive outfielder Adam Eaton from the D-Backs while the Angels will pick up left-handed pitchers Hector Santiago and Tyler Skaggs.

In 159 games with the Angels last season, Trumbo batted .234 with 34 home runs and 100 RBIs. For his career, he has belted 95 homers in 1,718 at bats,

The 25-year-old Santiago compiled a record of 4-9 with a 3.56 ERA in 34 games and 23 starts for the White Sox. He struck out 137 batters in 149 innings of work.
