Giants' Eli Manning OK with Team Drafting Ryan Nassib

Elsa/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Even though the New York Giants drafted quarterback Ryan Nassib over the weekend, current starter Eli Manning isn't too concerned about it.

"I think that's pretty normal," Manning said to Jenny Vrentas of the Newark Star-Ledger. "I think it's always good to have a good quarterback come in and learn and be prepared. You never know what happens in this league, and you always have to have quality players on your team and quarterbacks, and so I think it's a good thing. Looking forward to working with a young guy."

Manning has been the full-time starter since 2005, and even at 32-years-old, he still has plenty of football left in him.

Despite winning two Super Bowls in the previous six seasons, the Giants decided to draft former Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib in the fourth-round. Nassib was considered one of the more talented quarterback prospects in the draft, but slipped in the draft. The Giants took the opportunity to get a potential future starting quarterback down the line.

Manning has thrown for 211 touchdowns since his rookie year in 2004. Nassib threw 70 touchdowns during his time at Syracuse.
