Harrison Does it Again, Kentucky Advances to Championship

Jamie Squire/Getty Images(ARLINGTON, Texas) -- Aaron Harrison may be a freshman but he continues to prove he's not afraid of taking the big shot.

With Kentucky down by two with 5.7 seconds left, Harrison nailed a go-ahead 3-pointer. Wisconsin had one final try for the win, but Traevon  Jackson's shot just missed as the Wildcats top the Badgers 74-73 Saturday, to advance to the national championship game.

Harrison, who hit the game-winner against Michigan to advance to the Final Four, took the pass from his twin brother Andrew and confidently nailed the 3-pointer in the face of the Wisconsin defender.

"Coach (John Calipari) said he wanted me to take the shot," Harrison said. " My teammates have confidence in me, and I just fed off that."

Kentucky (29-10) made 50 percent of its shots from the field in a back-and-forth game that never featured a double-digit lead.

Ben Brust and Sam Dekker each scored 15 points for Wisconsin (30-8), which was trying to win its first national title appearance 1941.

James Young had a game-high 17 points for Kentucky, which heads to its second national championship game in three seasons.
