A 56-year-old Salem man has been sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty in Marion County Court to unlawful possession of less than 15 grams of cocaine. Douglas Davis of West Allmon admitted to having the cocaine on October 18th. He also admitted to a petition to revoke his probation on an earlier driving under the influence conviction and received a concurrent sentence in the department of corrections.
Bond has been set at 15-thousand dollars for a 21-year-old Centralia man charged with theft. Anthony Boyce of Sanders Street is accused of having possession of two drum sets owned by James Clark last month. Public Defender Erika Sanders was appointed to represent Boyce.
A 29-year-old Salem man has been charged with obstructing a peace officer and criminal damage to property. Nathan Jean of East Bryan is accused of running from a Salem Police officer and breaking out a window in a car owned by Michelle Wine. Bond was set at one-thousand dollars.
18-year-old Angelica Gonzalez of Spruce Street in Odin was formally charged with disorderly conduct. He is accused of fighting with Keisha Stewart, provoking a breach of the peace.
Bond was set at one-thousand dollars for 26-year-old Kory Sumpter of Cottage Hills after he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
