State Union Contract Extended To September 30th

Governor Bruce Rauner and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 31 agreed to the two month extension preventing a strike or lockout before September 30th.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - Gov. Bruce Rauner has vetoed legislation that would have blocked public-employee strikes and management lockouts of those workers.
